Monthly Tuition & Make-Up Lessons

Monthly tuition reserves your student's regular weekly lesson time and remains the same throughout the year. Tuition is based on the full teaching year and divided into equal monthly payments, so the monthly rate remains consistent even during scheduled breaks, holidays, or weeks when a student is absent.

I understand that vacations, illnesses, school events, and busy weeks are a normal part of life! If a student needs to miss a lesson, monthly tuition remains the same. Because each student's regular weekly time remains reserved for them, make-up lessons for student absences are not guaranteed. When scheduling allows, I am always happy to be flexible.

If I need to miss or shorten a regularly scheduled lesson due to illness or an unexpected scheduling conflict, I will keep track of the time and make every reasonable effort to make it up. This may mean adding time to a future lesson or finding another available time. Because my teaching schedule is often full, however, I cannot guarantee a specific make-up time.

Monthly tuition includes two scheduled teacher vacation weeks each year, as well as scheduled holiday breaks for Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, 4th of July, and my birthday 😊. Families will receive advance notice of the teaching calendar, and no make-up lesson or tuition adjustment is needed for scheduled breaks.
